Multiphase modelling of glioma pseudopalisading under acidosis

<abstract><p>We propose a multiphase modeling approach to describe glioma pseudopalisade patterning under the influence of acidosis. The phases considered at model onset are glioma, normal tissue, necrotic matter, and interstitial fluid in void-free volume with acidity represented by proton concentration. We start from mass momentum balance characterize respective fractions deduce reaction-cross diffusion equations for space-time evolution necrosis. These supplemented reaction-diffusion equation dynamics lead formation patterns which typical high grade gliomas. Unlike previous works, our deduction also works higher dimensions involves less restrictions. investigate existence weak solutions obtained system perform numerical simulations illustrate solution behavior pattern occurrence.</p></abstract>
